Kia ora Whānau

Happy Mother’s Day to our ‘Mums” today. We hope you have a special day with your loved ones.

Thank you for taking the time to come in for the 3 Way Goal Setting Conferences. If you were unable to make it in please touch base and we can make another meeting time.

Thank you to our children who dressed up for 'Children’s World of Prayer' day. It is always nice to see children wearing their national costumes with pride.

The mini-marathon on Friday was a great day out. It's nice to see our whanau support, running, and cheering on our tamariki, thank you.

If you haven't filled out the transportation form for the Cross Country day please do so, we will be needing parent support on the day both for transportation and marshalling if you are able to help we would appreciate it.

Friendly Reminders:

* Library day is on Thursdays

- Chromebooks need to come to school charged. As we are a BYOD school, many of our learning activities now require devices. Headphones are essential, please. If your child's Chromebook is not working, I recommend contacting Paul (see contact details below).
- Please LABEL your children's clothing, we have quite a few issues with shorts/dresses ending up on the wrong body.
- If you need headphones still, Kmart, The Warehouse, or school have them ranging in price from $8
-Please collect bread tags and yummy stickers, if you need a chart please have your child come and see Mrs. Dinniss.

Last week and this week we are looking at Wellness, the students took part in an ignition afternoon each day. We looked at music, organs, water, and cooperative games. The students really enjoyed the opportunity to move around and learn new things. Below are students who were measuring approximately how much water they need to drink each day.

Have a great week.

Team Kahikatea
