Kia Orana ( MAY YOU LIVE A LONG AND FULFILLING LIFE) It is Cook Island Language Week this week. O ur Pasifika group have given us a class challenge - to learn a prayer they gave us and then to stand up and say it in front of the school at singing time on Thursday before we go out to lunch. 3-way conferences Three Way Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday 3rd August from 3.10 to 6.00 pm and Wednesday 4th August 3.10 - 6.00 pm. You need to go to www.schoolinterviews.co.nz and enter the event code aemzc. The time allowed for each conference is 10 minutes. Please be considerate of the teacher (who needs to keep to the appointment schedule) and other parents who have made bookings. If you feel you need more time for discussion, please organise another time to meet with the teacher. Bonjour and welcome We are all ready for our first day of school and I am so excited to be able to see each of our students smiling faces tomorrow. It is a short week, which is a great way to ease our children back into school mode without too much of a shock to the system. It was an absolute pleasure meeting one on one with parents and caregivers last week and chatting with you about your child. Thank you all for taking some time out of your very busy schedules to come and meet with us. Week 7 - Term 1 2021 March 14th, 2021 Kamusta Parents and Caregivers It is good to be back at Level 1 with parents able to come into school, please though remember that if your child isn't well to keep them at home. This week is our gala week. School Gala has been set for this Friday, March 19th. A new countdown was issued to children last Friday. Please support this important fundraising event. There will be no sausage sizzle this Friday due to the gala being held. St Joseph's Mass at St Mary's Church - Friday 9am NO swimming this week for Kahikatea. We will be swimmin g a gain in week 8.
